headache in the back of the head?

ive had this strange ache in the back of head (around the cowlick area) for about 3-4 days now. ive experienced this before, but they usually goes away as the day progresses. its seems to only be noticeable if i tilt or shake my head, and its a throbbing pain similar to someone poking at a bruised area. i dont recall bumping my head and its not allergies or sinuses. i havnt drank alcohol for a while and its not due to physical exertion.

arthritis headache seems to have the closest symptom, but im not entirely satisfied/convinced thats the cause. i usually get 5 hours of sleep a night (and then nap in the day) so could this be stress related? should i be worried? is there anything i should do in particular?

1. you probably have a tension headache which can commonly happen when you've slept wrong... try switching pillows and take some ibuprofen and or tylenol... get some good rest at night and try some tylenol pm if your having sleep issues... headaches/ migraines can be horrible and tough to go through... im sorry and hope you feel better soon
