I am suffering from a chronic knee pain does anyone have suggestions on what may cause this?

I am 19 yrs old suffering from chronic knee pain, I don't play much sports because of it. I started to feel it when I was 11 and every year it gets worse and now it is unbearable it affects my everyday life Just the other day I was standing waiting for the light to change so I can walk through the cross walk my knee was already hurting but just gave out and I fell to the ground and all I was doing was standing. I just can't take it anymore. All I want are some suggestions to what can cause this before I check myself into a hospital. PLEASE I JUST WANT SERIOUS RESPONSES ONLY THANK YOU

1. you most likely tore your meniscus, it is possible to tear it and deal with the pin until it get progressively worse, I would suggest you go to the doctor , you most likely will get x-rays first , then MRI, then surgery, healing is slow about three weeks depending what they have to do. I have had two so far each time removing a bit more, they cant really repair it , except removing the torn parts and shaving it smooth again, the meniscus is the soft tissue which ccushionsyour knee jjoint's it does not heal or regrow....

2. Torn ligaments or Miniscus
