Not typically, no.Common early signs of pregnancy are tender and swollen breasts, a missed period, bloating, frequent urination, a metallic taste in your mouth, etc. Headaches could be, as well as cramping, but a piercing pain and pounding headache alone are vague symptoms which are not in and of themselves pregnancy symptoms.
If you think you're pregnant, take a test, or see a doctor.
