constant headache during pregnancy?

I'm 39+4 weeks pregnant, for the past 3 weeks i've had a constant headache and lights infront of my eyes. Sometimes even sinus pains. I've been to have my bloods etc taken and they have said they cannot see anything wrong.
I had low blood pressure 100/60, which has now gone up to 110/75 which is high for me! But I feel as though the midwives are not listening to me. I know there is something wrong but when i've been in to say they just say the baby is fine and there is nothing that we can see is wrong. It's really getting to me now, I can't do anything ie watch tele, or read a book because of these headaches and am getting really frustrated with the midwives. What do i do?

1. NOT NORMAL CALL YOUR DOCTOR ... AFTER 35 YOU HAVE TO BE IN CONTACT WITH YOUR DOCTOR APPEARING ANY SYMPTOMS

2. I understand your pain. There should be a doctor visit in there. Midwives are not doctors, and, with your blood pressure rise, you need to have that addressed. It could just be a hormonal flux causing the pain, but you NEED to see the doctor. I am surprised at the midwifes lack of attention to the BP spike. Insist on her taking attention to it. She does, after all, work for you. If you are in the US, there is always a doctor available, in case something more is needed for baby and mom. Insist they pay attention. Tell the midwife you are really worried, and want something done. We know our bodies, and frankly, while I work in the medical field, I have just about given up on them. My youngest was born with a midwife, and I loved it, but, he and I had problems during labor and a doctor needed to be called in to address it. Do what you have to do .Do not be afraid of hurting someones feelings, or being thought a pest. WE KNOW when something is wrong with our bodies, and only WE can insist on help. Check out any web sites you can find, and take the proof with you.
Good luck !

3. sounds like a migraine. If you react to light, that is called aura symptoms.

Go see your general dr or ask to see the OB.

I take Imitrex (prescription pill for migraines). You'll have to talk to your doctor to see if these medications are right for you during pregnancy.
