Sinus headache?
About once a week I get these terrible headaches behind my left eye and at the base of the back of my head. And anytime I am sitting down, but then stand to go do something, it gets worse. It's almost like a wave of a worse headache. I'm pretty sure they're sinus headaches and they usually go away the next morning. I've tried everything: Vicks, hot showers, every OTC meds available...but nothing seems to help. Is there anything else that can help relieve sinus headaches?

1. Pain killers don't cure the pain but you loose the sense of pain and in the meantime body itself cures sometimes.There is no medicine for H/A OR MIGRAINE. Not only these but for almost all painful diseases. Hence they become chronic.

Sweet foods, COCOANUT WATER,sweet fruits, milk, rice, SPROUTS, SALADS and good sleep will help you.
But you try one herbal remedy- two drops of drumstick leaves' juice in opposite nostril if one side pains and both nostrils if full H/A will give you rescue. Betel leaf helps but it isvery strong.
If it is acute pl search a painful point 3-6 mm behind your thumb nail and press it, H/A will disappear within 30 seconds.

3. Sometimes your sinuses get clogged in the upper passages so you don't really notice it because you can still breath fine. (happens to me). I use maximum strength MucinexD. Get it any good pharmacy but you have to get the kind they keep back in the pharmacy itself. It has 1200 mg guaifenesin and 120 mg pseudoephedrine HCI. They keep it in the pharmacy itself because people use pseudoephedrine to make Meth. It's over the counter medication but you will probably have to sign for it. The guaifenesin is an expectorant (breaks up the mucus so it will drain). Good luck. Sinus headaches suck!
