Huge headache in back of head... help?

I have this headache an inch behind the tip of my right ear. It's been there for a day now and I don't know how to explain it. It's not a continuous pain. It's like a sharp pain lasting for a second and it occurs every few minutes. If I press down where the headache is, it hurts slightly. Is this normal? Cause I really have no idea... What should I do?
Nevermind! I went on google and typed in the symptoms and found that it's called ice pick headaches. Just incase anyone wants to know, I'm gunna leave the question up ok? ^^ Thanks for those who answered though!

1. If motrin or advil wont help see a doctor for possible ear infection just make sure its not a swollen gland mining if swollen there's infection some where in your system.

Good luck
