I have fibromyalgia and I do not have insurance, I take Oxycontin for treatment?
I am going to Cancun mexico and I was wondering if I could fill a script down in a Cancun pharmacy, has anyone done this and could you give me the details and your experience, cost ect. Please help if you can.

1. There methods in Mexico used in pharmacy are far different, you may ge a stronger dose or a lighter dose. Filling a script down there isn't worth the chance. When or if you take the Oxy with make sure you take the script with you for proof your not a smuggler.2. Hello, Take this advise from someone who learned the hard way. Yes this is a very good pain killer. I had a lung removed. They cut from the middle of my back around to the middle of my stomach under my left breast, and cracked my ribs. To get to lung. I was a non smoker. Oxy is very strong, and it does work. After a while the effect wears off so you end up taking more. I was taking 30 pills a day. They were ten mg tablets. I was getting it from three doctors. My surgeon, lung doctor, and infections specialist. I was very well on my way to an addiction. I would have three bottles at a time. With two pills in. You can not stop this medication without being weened. You will have with drawls. I did not ween myself. I loved how good they made me feel. Life was so good, it was the best drug I had ever taken. I did not want to quit. I never thought about the next week, when they would be gone, and I was suppose to be weened off of them. I went through my first with drawl. It was the worst feeling I have ever had. I thought I was loosing my mind. It is a feeling or experience I never want to go through again. It was so bad, I ended up in the ER. They would not add to my addiction. So I was sent home, and told to make an apt. with my doctor in morning. I lied, and said I accidental spilled bottle and they went down drain. I went to a different hospital trying to get more. I had to go in the next day to my regular dr. and ad mitt that I had a problem. That I was taking thirty pills a day. Those were the best months of my life. I knew I had a problem. It was not easy being weened off of them. They would drop a pill a week. So it took me a while. I left the clinic so happy. That I was able to go and get my pills and for one week take thirty a day. I took them three times a day, so actually each week they dropped down three pills a day. I could not pick up my meds. Someone had to do it for me, and bring them to me. So I would not be tempted. This person was sick of doing this for me, so would give me the weeks supply at one time. A few times I fell off the wagon and took to many. Then I had to suffer in the end. It was a long road, and tough ride. May I suggest you do not even bother going out of the USA to get them. The US passed some new laws that prevent Americans from bringing drugs from other countries into the USA. If you can afford to go to Cancun, then why not get health insurance.
