Can you take Trileptal (Seizure medication) and aspirin (Or generic headache relief) together?

I have a headache and I take Trileptal and I wanted to take some aspirin but my uncle won't let me, so if anyone could get me a reply ASAP, that'd be great, thanks.

1. It should be fine. I'm at work in a hospital pharmacy and I just asked our pharmacist. I don't know about other stuff like tylenol or advil, but he said there's no interaction between Trileptal and aspirin.

2. It's no big deal. I've taken over the counter pain relievers with my epilepsy meds (I've been on a few types) tonnes of times. Just don't take antacids within 2 hours of taking your meds because that will affect your body's ability to absorb it and phenobarbital, phenytoin, carbamazepine, and valproate will decrease the levels of trileptal in the blood.
