What could be the cause of knee pain for a young adult?
I have had pain in my knees since I was a little kid. The pain is similar to headaches. The pain always happened at random times. I still have the problem, but mostly around "that time" of the month. I was never active as a child, or now. And I consider myself to be of average weight, if that helps.

1. I was one of those people that had pain in my knees from the time I was 13. Everyone dismissed it to growing pains and it was nothing to worry about well long story short it was more than growing pains I had chondromalacia patella in both my knees. Now here I am at 37 years old and I am recovering from my 6th knee surgery on my right knee. Just go and see a doctor and they can tell you what is going on better than anyone here on net.
