Left knee popped.. diagnosis?

I was playing basketball last night, I drove to the basket, and did a quick jumper. All of a sudden I felt a pop inside my knee. I went down immediately, I was able to walk about 3 or so minutes after the pain went away. I was able to walk, however, pain existed over the MCL area, as well as the back of knee. There was minimal swelling last night, I had more range of motion, but today I can barely move it. I know that is the bodies way of protecting the injury. It's not too swollen, just enough to cause pain when I try to fully extend it, or bend it. I can put weight on it still, but it seems like it is still weak. The question is, any doctors or sports specialists have any idea what this could be? I researched and think it may be a grade 1 or 2 MCL sprain. Since it is the holidays, don't feel like bugging the sports injury specialist. The pain is most on the inside of knee, and when I bend or try to extend the knee, hurts inside the knee when I try to over extend, which I read that could be PCL injury. Any ideas?

1. well, you could have torn a ligament. Doesn't sound to bad though. try to do daily exercises to ease the muscle, relax it, then soak it in warm water. the exercises are like stretching. stretch as far as you can at least twice a day. try to go see a different doctor sense i can't see it so i can't treat it. you also may have popped it out of place witch may be serious.
