Anyone have any experience(s) good / bad?

1. My bro uses one and it works for him, he does it in addition to back exercises from his chiropractor. However, ask you doctor first before going out and buying one.
2. I use to have inversion boots and hang upside down when I had back pain. The trick was getting on or off. It seemed to help the compression of the spine. http://www.chiropracticmassage.com
3. Inversion tables can be very effective, if you have the right problem. I have one that I use regularly and it really helps my back.
How do you know if it will help your back? Good question. Maybe you could rig up a trial run before spending the money that is what I did. We had a 6 foot table with folding legs that I laid down on the floor and stacked some boards up under one end so that it was at an angle. Then I put a couple of blankets on it for padding and gave it a try. After lying on it for awhile I thought that it might have potential for me so I added some more boards to make it steeper and I started having trouble sliding off. I had to hook my heels over the edge or scoot up so my knees could bend down and hold me on it. It was kind of a pain but I got enough of a feel for it that I went out and bought one.
There are lots of ways to rig up a test to lie on and see how it feels to your back. You really don't need to be completely upside down to get the benefits. I rarely go all the way on mine.
