Please help me figure out what's wrong with my body.?
I've been getting sick more and more often lately. I've always been the sickly child. Fibromyalgia, lupus, diabetes and cancer run in my family but I really doubt what's going on is cancer. My symptoms: severe joint and muscle pain constantly and motrin and Tylenol do not help, frequent headaches, heavy periods usually, I have pretty bad allergies, severe fatigue no matter how much sleep and all I do is go to school and I don't take PE so I don't exert myself, I'm usually irritable and lately I've been really really depressed. I've also been sick about 6 times in the past 8 weeks. When I get home from school it's all I can do to stay standing and awake. I also have back issues but I don't think that has anything to do with this. Pleas just help me figure out what's wrong with me and give me a way to convince my mom to take me to the doctor
Oh yea and I am super cold intolerant. I wear my big heavy coat when everyone else just wears a light jacket and I've lived in Kansas for over 7 years now.
I can't excercise. It hurts too bad during and afterwords. I tried to do track last year but had to quit after two weeks because my body hurt so bad. Btw I'm 14

1. well. have you tried to go to a doctor? i think doctors are a litttttle bit more reliable than random people on yahoo! :D
hah, i'm sorry though. hope you get better!
2. could be a lot of things and it could be your depression. i have been suffering from sever depression for almost 2 years now and i get sick quite often
3. Your mom should be taking you to the doctor! If she won't ask a family member or a friend instead, or just go yourself. It definitely sounds like something to get checked out
4. Balins capsules are highly competent as a blood sugar levels decreaser, therefore, it is vital to maintain an equilibrium between Balins capsules and any other course of treatment. In order to prevent hypoglycemia, that may come about as a result of coinciding with the implementation of conventional treatment for diabetes and Balins capsules It is commended that your mom increase her daily dosage progressively of Balins capsules, while simultaneously moderating the dosage of any other medication that your mom is taking
5. Your diet can also affect your symptoms.
Please consider drinking more fluids (specifically water) and incorporating a healthy exercise routine into your lifestyle.
On top of that, see a professional.
6. I would recommend going to a University Hospital to get checked out, as they have much more resources than a regular hospital...They will have you diagnosed and feeling better almost immediately or very soon afterward..I hope this helps and I hope you go.
7. I am an EMT in training, so I don't know as much as a doctor per say, but Lupus is an auto-immune disease. This may be the cause for your constant sickness. However, Fibromyalgia (FM) does potentially explain the joint pain that is not solved by tylenol.
I remember being sick for quite a while during my junior year of high school. I was out for an entire semester in fact, so I know how discouraging constantly feeling sick/getting sick can be.
Any one of the diseases you mentioned that you say run in your family, are all dangerous unless appropriate action is taken. A doctor will probably recommend a full line of tests to confirm, and then prescribe the appropriate medication(s).
To your mother: While I do not know who you are, and while you do not know who I am, the symptoms that your daughter is experiencing can be the signs of some potentially very harmful genetic diseases. Every citizen in this country, regardless of age, has the right to good medical care. It is inhumane to deny a human in America this basic need. I understand that especially now, in the midst of a recession, times are hard. For all of us. But for the sake of your daughter's health and well being, I recommend taking her to a doctor to be checked out. If you are uninsured, or are worried about paying hospital bills, take your daughter to a big city hospital ER with good facilities. Such hospitals have budgets set aside for patients who are unable to pay hospital bills. But please, help your daughter before things really get out of hand.
8. You have classic symptoms of hypothyroidism. You require a visit to a doctor and blood tests to make a diagnosis.
9. Have a doctor check for thyroid disease.
10. First, the symptoms fall in line with the problems in the family. You need to stop thinking of yourself as the "sickly child" in the family too. This is 90% of the problem. Why aren't you taking PE? This is one thing your body could use is the exercise. This runs in a vicious circle, the more you rest or sleep the more strength you lose. You're gaining nothing at all by what you're doing. For every day in bed you lose 2 days of body strength. This is a fact. No wonder you have no energy. You need to join a group exercise in a local YMCA or gym. THere are all types where you can go at different times and have a ball doing it aand making friends too. Allot of girls have heavy periods and they relieve allot of cramps and flow by doing this. Please don't miss most of the best times of your life. You'll regret it when you get older thinking about the dances and other school things you missed out on too, I know I did. You need to seriously get out of the house, find some fun things, and then go and do them. Soon college will be around the corner. Talk about fun, girl just wait. Please don't say you're going to opt out here. You need a career to be able to take care of yourself when you get older aqnd not depend on anyone else. This is another great thing under the belt too. You'll most likely meet that special someone, but this way you can take your time. Good luck and God Bless
11. There are a number of things this could be- to name a few; Thyroid disorder or Mononucleosis. Both require medical attention and in both instances the doctor will need to check your blood. Since you are a student and are still in school, please go visit the school nurse and let her know your symptoms- she/he will make sure that your parent will follow up with a doctor. Your parent will have to do something about it because school will be involved and I'm sure your parent does not want any part of that. When you do feel better or have more energy, take a walk outside to get out in the sunshine- let the sun hit your fore head and drive away that depression. Take Care.
12. being sick often is a sign of something like
priamry immune deficiency
http://www.primaryimmune.org/
while thyroid issaue are apossibility--you are young for that
take everything you read here with a grai of salt--EMT training does nota ddress this--so anyone using that as a source diminishes his creditibiity
13. sweetie, your symptoms sound like several things..it's hard to just dx you like this. your mom needs a wake up call and get you to a doc pronto. if money is the problem or no ins. go to an ER or a clinic...lots of free stuff around. you need a good workup. hope you feel better soon. nan
