Headache on left side of my head?
I have a throbbing headache on the left side of my head. I am 15 and under a lot of stress.I can't swallow pills and we're out of chewable tylenol and my parents are in Jacksonville for the day which is pretty far away from where I live so I really need some help. What should I do?

1. the only way to really get rid of a headache is to wait it out.
2. Get off the computer, lie down, and put a warm towel on your head.
Take a nap and see if it helps; hopefully you can sleep it off and it won't turn into a migraine.
3. Try get to sleep, I have frequent migraines and this helps me
4. Not much you can do except put a cold or warm washcloth on your head, depending on your preference, and try to sleep. Sorry you don't feel good.
5. Find the temple spots on your left and right side of your head, you'll feel the blood vessels pumping over the top of them. Apply pressure to the blood vessels with your fingers (usually two fingers on each side) and the pain should immediately subside. If not then it's probably a migraine and probably caused by tense neck muscles. Get someone to massage your neck, particularly where the head meets the neck , and gently squeeze the base of the skull. Migraines will subside if you lie down in a dark room but massaging the neck can significantly reduce the amount of time you suffer.
