what is the best medicine for chronic knee and back pain

I have never found pain medicine that takes care of my knees. I have found medicine that works on my back, but is there something that i could suggest to the doctor that would help both?

1. Ask your doctor for an anti-inflammatory and some kind of pain medication to take at the same time. Something like hydrocodone or tramadol plus the ant-inflammatory will help any inflammation and pain. Also you can get some OTC ibuprofen if you can't take the strong prescription kind plus some type of pain meds from your doc. Hope this helps and hope you feel better.
