In terrible pain- tension headache during pregnancy?

I've had a terrible tension headache for almost 24 hours, and am wondering what I can do to relieve the pain. I know that tylenol is "safe" to take during pregnancy, but it is not even remotely helping. I couldn't even sleep last night. Do I have any other options?? Sigh.......

1. Same exact thing happened to me. Mr doctor put me on Maxalt 10MG. it helped quite a bit.

2. put a really cold washcloth on your head

3. I had the same thing...nothing helped. But, I took tylenol right before I went to bed and I was able to sleep and it definitely lessened the pressure in my head.

4. are you sure they are tension headaches? mine turned out to be severe anemia.when i was pregnant,

5. Put a heating pad on your head for a few minutes or try a really warm shower and just let the water run over your head. Also maybe try warm washcloths on your forehead. I had headaches really badly early in my pregnancy and all these remedies seemed to alleviate it some. Hoping you get to feeling better soon. =)
