Did anyone else have severe headaches during pregnancy? How long did they last?

I'm almost 12 weeks pregnant and suddenly I have terrible terrible headaches. I know they are partially sinus related but I haven't had any sinus problems really until about 3 weeks ago.

Anyways I was just wondering if anyone had severe migrane headaches during pregnancy and how long that lasted for you?

Thanks

1. i had them for a whole week last week, they were so bad they made me wanna throw up and i had to constantly take panadol to get rid of them (panadol is safe) i get them some days but never as bad as what they were last week,
i reccomened panadol first and if that doesnt work ask ur doctor they might be able to prescribe you a safe thing to take that might get rid of them

2. I'm in the same boat! I'm 11 weeks 3 days and for the past few days I've had an awful non stop headache. I'm hoping it doesn't last long.

3. I am sixteen weeks and still getting them my doctor prescribed tylenol with codine in it but I never got it filled because the codine can leak to the baby and i don't want that. I have them so bad they make me puke and sometimes I feel like when I lay down that even my pillow even hurts my head. The best thing I can tell you is try to sleep them off when you get themI know how they feel.

4. I'm about 6weeks. I've been getting them since about a week ago. They get really bad, especially If i'm watching TV. Tears just start rolling down my eyes. It lasted till about yesterde, now the come on and off.

5. Yes, those terrible headaches... Sinus related or not... I went through them through my entire first trimester. I thought it only happened to me.. Those excruciating headaches made me feel so weak and in sooo much pain. I googled so much information on the internet and what I found was that because of the increase amount of blood I was subject to getting them.

I then began to analyze them a little more in depth and realized that when it was humid or I was in a kind of warm/hot location/area my headaches will begin and last days.

I would call my docs office and they would recommend Tylenol, that definitely did not work and never did even before I became pregnant.

My suggestion is try to lay down and put wet warm towels on your head, it should take some of the pressure off. It did for me... Or try Vicks, that also helped even though it was not a cold that I had.

Once the first trimester is over, it should all pass by. I don't get the sinus headaches anymore and here I am 27 weeks pregnant.

Hopefully, those headaches go away- Mine were sooo painful that it would make me tear and cry because of all the pressure on my head.

6. I am 15 weeks pregnant and i just started getting these headaches about 1 week ago. They are so bad I cant lay down.... I realized my eadaches begin when I am up all day and haven't gotten any rest.
My suggestion is every day take a lil nap for at least an hour and you should be good to go also eat healthy foods.
