Is it normal to have terrible headaches during early pregnancy ?

I am finally pregnant after trying for over 10 years. I am in my early 30s and this is a new experience for me. I took 8 different pregnancy test, and they were all positive. I have not gone to the doctor yet, but I have an appointment for Monday morning. Every thing is the same except for I have extreme headaches everyday. I have taken so many different kinds of headache medications, but nothing works. Is it normal to have headaches during early pregnancy, or is it something besides pregnancy that is making me have these headaches?

1. ohh man sever headaches were my first sighn! i didnt realize i was pregnant, so i took a vikodin to make it go away. it was the worst headache i have ever had. so yess.. congrats!

2. yes yes yes.....i had headaches for a month with my first and the one i'm pregnant with now isn't any different. Drink A LOT of water. try to rest. and i had a half a can of pepsi so the little bit of caffeine would help my headaches.

3. headaches are normal...especially since your probably coming off of caffine. i took tylonal. and it helped a little but its never really helped me even before i was pregnant. but just ask the doctor. he will deff be able to tell you.

4. Congrats on the pregnancy.
Now about those headaches, do not take anything other than Tylenol. Tylenol does not have any aspirin in it so it is safe for the baby. Make sure to drink lots and lots of water. Some headaches are cause by dehydration and since you are now pregnant your body and the baby need more water because it is working overtime.
Don't worry headaches usually happen in pregnancy.

5. try taking a nap and putting a wet cloth on your forehead

6. so normal! but dont take anything but regular strength tylenol without talking to you doctor first.
