help! "pregnancy" headache...?

did anyone ever get a "pregnancy" headache in the first few weeks and when did it end? how did you get through it?
i found out i was pregnant yesterday and since about 5 dpo (im 13 dpo now) ive had this migraine type headache and ive been reading that its most likely due to my hormones changing so quickly. tylenol takes the edge off it but doesnt make it go away. i can hardly sleep bc of it. im really hoping it ends soon!
i wish rest was an option for me... this will be my 4th baby so i have 3 active kids running around the house, the youngest being 15 months then 3 yrs then 4.5 yrs (at least shes in school half the day.) and my hubby leaves for work at 730 am and gets home at 545 pm. when he gets home im sooo ready for bed!

luckly no morning sickness yet... *fingers crossed*

1. I get them really bad. Tylenol helps, but sleep and keeping up on my vitamins seemed to help better. So did staying overly hydrated.

But going to the chiropractor is what ended them for me. They still come back from time to time and I just run over and have my neck cracked.

I got them with both pregnancies clear through.

2. Oh girl I hope your not like me. I had a migraine from the start to the end of my pregnancy they couldn't prescribed my any medication because i was pregnant. So I remember crying in the doctors office during one of my check up because the migraine was so bad and i had to lie down and the light was hitting my eyes. The doctor finally gave me medication that had codeine in it and told me only to take it if the pain was unbearable. So sorry to say but my headaches stayed for the long run. I did try everything else I could find on the net to help with migraines other than taking medication, but nothing worked. So i hope you don't turn out to have them like I did becuase it is horrible. Hope all goes well for you!

3. I get headaches from a neck injury that can get as severe as dizzy spells and nausea. I'm allergic to tylenol, but what helped me when I was pregnant was putting an ice pack on my neck. Try this trick and see if it helps, especially if you are feeling any pain or tension there. Also call your OB/GYN. I know you have a week or more before you see the doctor for your first visit but it maybe they can recommend something. Also be sure to take your prenatal vitamin, you may be lacking something and this could help.
