Help. My left ankle is swollen and feels like its broken and I have not injured it.?

Last week this started up. My left leg was in so much pain from my knee down. My knee I noticed was swollen in areas. Now thats gone but now the ankle is blown up. I have a hard time walking on it and the bone inside feels its being stabbed when I walk. When I sit I feel the throbbing pain. Its weird cause its only the left leg.

I havent injured it. I work out eat well. Walk on the treadmill a lot. I do have weird kidney counts (really high or really low) but ive cut back on protein. ( I am hypoglycemic rare symptoms though) I went to a walk in clinic to check my uric acid as I read online that gout is one reason for this. But thte doctor says Im to young. (39 look 30).

What could the reason be for this?
I dont have red skin on the ankle. Its just puffy. And painful.

1. Maybe it is cellulitus? You should go get checked if it goes untreated it could be really bad! I would go make a appointment asap!
