Chronic knee pain....any ideas?
I have been experiencing chronicc knee pain for more than 20 years. I have had three surgeries on my right knee arthroscopicy. elmslie trillat, & lateral release) and one on my left (lateral release). My pain really has not been diagnosed. I have seen many orthopedicc specialist and a rhometolgist. Xrays, MRIs, & theblood workk for the R factor have all been negative. We are now going to do an EMG to check on the nerves in my knees. Does anyone how any ideas that we can explore.

1. ive had knee probs for years--i told my doc it only hurts when i wear flat heels. after i told her the 400th time she did a xray with heels on then off--my knees went in & back too far in flat shoes--i put my 3 inch heels on n the xray shows straight knees. it hurts in tennis shoes etcccc--she ''got it'' after seein that--i wear heels all day till i go to bed--maybe u can try a little heel for awhile to see if it helps-good luck
