I had a MCL grade II sprain to my right knee due to a work related injury in May 07. I have had arthroscopic surgery to remove plica from the injury sight last Oct. After two weeks of therapy they released me with no seen improvements, the doctor has also released me from workers comp. I am still having sever pain in my knee that is hot, stinging and burning pain accompanied with sharp stabbing pains. I recently help clean a garage for 4 hours, according to my doctor I have no restrictions and can do anything I want. But that is not what my knee says. It has taken me 5 days (and still counting) to be able to do anything. Mostly I sit in bed and rest, ice and elevate.
I was fired from that job and have no compensation for this injury as workers comp has dropped me. I am a truck driver and have a physical job, no way could I ever work in this condition. I see the doctor again on the 26th, to beg him for help. Does anyone have any suggestions to help me in this disparate time?
Guess I am getting no luck here....
My search continues!
