I am having alot of right mid to lower back pain that goes to front of lower side whats this mean?

i am at work right now having mid to lower back pain that goes around to my lower front of abdomen..its really bad i do not know if i should go to the emergency room or wait till my shift is over at 830am i do not know if i am pregnant either 5 days late for period could it be connected to this pain?

2. There are many possibilities for what this could be, and some of them are quite serious. A kidney infection can cause one-sided lower back pain but if the pain is going around to your abdomen you may have a kidney stone. Appendicitis can start as back pain and then localize to the right side of your abdomen. If there is a chance that you might be pregnant, an ectopic pregnancy could cause the pain you describe. None of these possibilities will go away by themselves. You need to be seen by a doctor as soon as possible.
