Lower back pain during the first trimester?
I've been feeling a pain on the left side of my lower back for a few hours now...I know most pregnant women get it during their third trimester, bc of all the weight they're carrying around, but is it normal to have this now?

1. Yeah i had the same things happen to me when i was pregnant with my son and i was told that its your placenta growing so your baby can grown. its normal.
2. Yes back pain is normal in early pregnancy. Sometimes its a sign that tip woman off about being pregnant. I had it also and still get it once in awhile.
3. As soon as you become pregnant your body starts changing, especially your hormone levels. These hormones make your ligaments soft and stretchy including the ligaments in your back. Unfortunately this also makes them painful.

4. I felt the same way during the first trimester...apparently, it's the uterus stretching to accommodate the baby once it starts to grow. Congrats!
