has anyone had the nerves burned in their lower back for pain relief?

I have a bulging disk in my lower back and have had 4 steriod injections with no success. My dr. burned the nerves 2 weeks ago to relieve the pain but no luck. I am thinking maybe I need surgery. Anyone out there have any advise

1. Before surgery, it's worth to try fresh burdock root soup in 3 weeks and with simple mineral ice. That's how I fixed my back bone 3 years ago after was unable to stand up without aid or bending body or turning, walking fast without horible pains!

Hard to find, only at oriental grocery stores or ebay.
Can add few shitake mushrooms into soup.

2. If you have a disk that is putting pressure on the nerves you need to get the disk removed. But in the meantime, try hanging upside down for 20 minutes 3-4 times a day. The stretch on the spine may cause the disk to pull back from the nerve at least temporarily and give you some relief.
