How to relieve pain in the sides and back of ankle?
Whenever I walk there is a sharp pain in the sides of my ankle and the back. It hurts especially in the morning and when i sit down for long periods of time. I probably injured it skateboarding, but is there anything to do to relieve the pain because it has been like this for a couple days. Thanks.

1. QUIT SITTING FOR LONG PERIODS OF TIME! consider your shoes, maybe get some foot supports to put in your shoes. make sure your shoes have good foot support. Massage your feet, not to hard but it can help. STRECH your feet! do a warm up(not a warm up on your feet, prolly a laying down warm up) for 5min until u break a sweat, then strech your body, exspecially your feet, for 15mins. dont do any jumping or running or anything that causes your feet to hurt more. AND Dont sit for long times, maybe your in school..but get up during each class and do what ya gotta do if it makes you feel better. u prolly ddid injure that ankle, just be real easy with it, so it can heal, keep ice on it 24-7 duck tape ice on it over clothes all day and night, if u think its broke then get a x ray.
