lower back pain on my right side?

I have a pain in my back on the lower right side. It doesnt hurt when im not moving, or anything, however, whenever i use my right leg, it hurts, only when im using it as support or walking on it. I like to do a lot of running so it is a bit of an annoyance. Was just wondering if anyone could tell me what it is and how to sort it out?

Thanks a lot.

1. you needa exercise

2. I would go to a chiropractor

3. When I was in dance, I always had a pain in my lower back on the right side. It would only hurt for a while but wasn't unbearable. Then it became unbearable, and so I went to the doc. He took x-rays and CT scans and found out that I had two fractures. So if it gets pretty painful then you should go see your doctor.

4. It could be a few things.. Depending on how bad it hurts and if its just your side, here are a few things..

It could be you have a UTI or kidney infection and you need meds. from the doctor,
It could be a kidney stone, and you'd have to get a cat scan to make sure, though they hurt like hell
It could be a pinched nerve or a disk buldging, and that also hurts badly,
Those are a few major things, you could have even pulled a muscle or slept wrong, if it continues to hurt or gets severe you need to go to the doctors. Even a doctor couldnt tell you, whats wrong until he saw you and did testing. Good luck

5. have you been weight training i was doing squats and i got back pain it was so bad for about 4 hours i could not move or walk then i slowly got better after 2 weeks the pain was gone just rest and don't go running till the pain goes

6. I may be mistaken but it sounds to me like you have and issue with nerves or spine disks. I would recommend going to your doctor and asking for an MRI. I had similar symptoms. Turned out to be problems with my spine. One slipped and one shattered disk. I just had back surgery and I am only 23 years old. It was the best thing that I did though. Like I said, I could be mistaken but it wouldn't hurt to check.

7. Consult your doctor immediately, we could only assume that the pain you are experiencing could be related to kidney problems, and I pray that its not. See your doctor and have an MRI scan. Good luck and let us know how you do.

8. Hi,

Back pain also known as Piriformis Syndrome. Mostly we can have it after a long sleep or hard work. Visit this site for more info about piriformis syndrome.

9. This sounds like a subluxation in your lumbar spine.

Subluxation is a misalignment of a vertebrae causing irritation to a nerve resulting in the pain your feeling. The movement causes increased irritation to the affected nerve.

I would recommend finding a good chiropractor in your area. Make sure he/she takes x-rays and performs a thorough exam prior to adjusting you. You should feel better within no time at all.

Good Luck
