I am a sixteen year old boy who has chronic knee pain when I bend down with my knees or go up stairs.?

I am sixteen and have pain in my knees when I bend or put any pressure on them when I bend. I am very active and skateboard alot. What could this be?

1. Osgood-slaughters disease, it happens during puberty b/c of growth plates in the knee rubbing together and is very common and manageable. It creates sensitivity in the knee, and is treatable by ibuprofen. The only real problem this disease presents is pain, it causes no real damage to your body. See your doctor for more information and use ibuprofen and ice until then.
