1. Opiate pain killers. Plus lyrica or cymbalta.

2. Your doctor may choose one or more of many options depending on your specific needs.

Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDS) are often prescribed, as well as, muscle relaxants for obvious reasons.

Also, do to the upset in neurotransmitters caused by fibromyalgia, certain symptoms respond to Benzodiazapine and Tricyclic anti-depressants and are of benefit to some individuals.

And of course, sleeping medications and narcotic pain killers are also prescribed when necessary. Chances are with fibromyalgia, you'll have to try more than one approach before finding the right medication/combination that works for you.

3. the ons taht are supposed to be prescribed are thoingslike

CYMBALTA< SAVELLA whch are SNRI

or
LYRICA which is anti seizure

other meds in those classes may be helpfull

but many incopetant docs will precribe NSAIDS--biut there is no inflammtion in FM

sometimes narcotics, muscle relaxants are used

4. I know of some really great all natural products that have been proven to help with fibromyalgia. Email me so I can send you some information.
