what can cause pain in lower limbs (calves) in children?
my cousin(10 yrs) has been suffering from acute pain in his calves for more than a month.we've seen a number of doctors including a neurologist.there has been no pinpoint diagnosis.he had had a fall injuring his knees a little bit after that his legs have been paining in irregular bouts.what symptoms are these?whom should we consult?

1. Knee pain such as in the calf area can be an indication of a problem with the feet. I would recommend that he be seen by a Pediatric Podiatrist (a Podiatrist is a doctor that specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases and disorders that relate to the foot and ankle, a Pediatric Podiatrist is a doctor who specializes in problems of the foot and ankle in children) if this has not been done already to see what they think could be going on.
2. i'm pretty sure you're talking about growing pains.
when kids grow, sometimes their bodies need to adjust to it and it could be painful.
hell, i'm 18 and i still get them from time to time, but i especially used to get them when i was younger
