It hurts to do daily activities such as comb my hair of use a can opener. I can not type or write for very long before my wrist and fingers start to hurt. All of the above problems started about 3 years ago and have gotten worse mostly while I was pregnant and lasted in the here after. The latest onset has been my shoulders. Please if there is anyone who has had these problems even some I really would like the help. I have started to have terrible dreams about dieing. It has gotten to the point where taking care of my children is a task......doing the simple things is hard and painful.
PLEASE HELP!!!
I went to see a doctor and was tested for RA and Lupus and he said both test were negative......Thank God. I am not searching for something......I just really would like to know what is wrong with me so that I can get help and live my life......PAIN FREE

6. I've been in a similar situation over the past couple of years. All my tests for Lupus and RA came back negative and they are calling it Fibromyalgia at this point.
I would suggest that you try to get into see a rheumatologist (to see about the Fibro). A good rheumy should be able to help you find a correct diagnosis for something like this. Also, get a second opinion. Even if you have a great doctor, another doctor may see something that yours didn't. I got a second opinion and found out that in addition to all of my other symptoms, I also had several vitamin deficiencies that my doctor simply did not know to look for.
Also check out Butyoudontlooksick.com. It's a great site for info on all sorts of "invisible" illnesses and ways to cope when you feel that bad. Good luck!
