knee problems and pain with no diagnosis. please help?
okay. my knee started hurting 4 years ago. eventually it got to the point where my knee would "pop" or crack, and it'd give out...it was so painful. i've been to every doctor imaginably. rhumatologist, arthritic doctor, and ive had blood tests, mri and xrays. with no other diagnosis, my doctor decided i have patella femoral syndrome. ice and a knee brace along with exexercisess what they prescribed. my knee pain has come and gone over the last four years usually the pain easing up after about 4 months. but when i have the pain its SO bad. its sharp and i can barely walk. and like i mentioned before, it pops out and makes me fall over.
if any one has ANY ideas please let me know
thanks so much.

1. Oh Man, I know exactly what you are going through! I’ve been dealing with the same pain and symptoms for the past 14 years. I went so far as to trying to have my aches and pains diagnosed that I went to the orthopedic surgeon and insisted that he “scope” my knee. I was told that my knee cap was rubbing against the other bones and cause friction. So now my right knee cap is smaller than the left because he shaved it to fit properly. That helped me out for a few months, but the pain came right back. I was then told exactly what you were told… Exercise, ice, heat, the whole nine yards. So what I have done is…
Bought a back massager and used it on my knees when I start to feel the pain coming on. Along with take 1000mg of Tylenol. And if there is a sudden weather change I will take the Tylenol regardless because that for me kills me. I do know that every pound lost off your entire body is equal to 3 pounds taken off of your knees. I know shedding a few pounds always helps me!
Hope your pain gets better and won’t have to deal with it for as long as I have been!
Good luck!
2. I think I can help you. I am going to go with just the tendons on this but if that doesn't do it we can add on the muscles, but whatever it takes we are going to get you walking again. While sitting on a chair take both hands and wrap them around your leg right above your knee so that you can take your fingertips and find the tendons in the back of the knee, three on the inside and two on the outside, one of them part way up the outside of your leg. Place a finger on each of them and place your thumbs right behind the kneecap. Pull up hard with your fingers and push down hard with your thumbs. Now relax, take a deep breath and exhale, and don't tense up any part of your body including your arms, let your fingers do the work. After 30 seconds, slowly start to slide your foot forward until your leg is fully extended. Release the pressure and hold your leg in position for one minute. Do your other one. If you have any questions or problems contact me. And you can do these a few times if you want, they hurt nothing.
