Is it normal for me to get a severe sinus headache when I play trumpet?
I get sinus headaches often in the summertime, but they get really bad when I play high notes on my trumpet or when I do push ups or stretch so that my head is below the rest of my body. Is this normal and why does this happen?

1. This is because all the blood is on one side and your breathing pattern is irrigular. i would practice taking large breathes to make your lung capacity larger
2. I agree with the first answer...I also think it vibrates your lips and stuff, so that might make it achy.
3. That doesn't seem normal.
Go to a doctor. Also, breath deep from your gut and do not raise your shoulders when you inhale. However, this really sounds like something you need to tell a doctor.
