Is there a place online I can request general information about Adoption?
My eyes get really weak and give me headaches when I'm researching online, so I was wondering if anyone knew a website that just sends out BASIC information, not information specified about one certain agency, maybe like pamphlets or a brochure etc?
We're not sure enough to visit an agency right now, that would be too nerve racking right now.

1. Try the Dave Thomas Foundation website (link below). It might be what you are looking for.
I would be happy to offer you more info if I knew what you were wanting to know.
Good luck!
2. I think this is the best, most informative, and most HONEST place on the internet I've ever seen for information regarding adoption. All sides of the "triad" are represented here, and that means you've got a wealth of personal information coming from those who have lived it (rather than those making money off of it - i.e. agencies).
One thing, though...you've got to have a tough skin, and you've got to have an interest in making sure your adoption is ethical, and truly in the best interests of the child. Otherwise, you'll get eaten alive here. There are lots of sites that won't let people discuss the realities in the adoption industry, but most people here don't bother with dishonest sites like that...most of us would prefer the truth, even if it is painful.
So, ask away. Whatever you want to know, chances are someone here knows it and can point you in the right direction.
3. Adoption.com is a little plain, but they have some information about every type of adoption.
4. Adoption.com might be a good place to start.
I strongly disagree that you should look for information here. I have been perusing the questions and answers here and have found that this site is dominated by people who know very little about adoption. There are some who hate adoption but seem to be confused about what it involves and there are others here who hate birthmothers because they know nothing about their experiences. I have adopted myself and haven't found any opinions expressed here that reflected my experience (or the experiences of others I've met). If you want to learn about adoption, you'll have to go somewhere else that is not so full of uninformed, irrational hatred. I guess the only thing I can take away from my time here is that I am proud I will raise my child to try to see the world through other's eyes. This is a site for small people with small ideas and small hearts.
