What causes tenderness on the scalp during a headache?
Ugh. Had a one sided headache for weeks. Been the doctor but I want to know what would cause tenderness on the area that is hurting. Had normal CT scan and eye exam. Doctor suspects migraines

2. Hey, you should get this checked out by someone again. Go to the Mayo Clinic website and look at the symptom checker. When there, look for head tenderness.
I've had that on rare occasions and think it's the blood vessels inflamed. Persistent pain could be something else?
