1. Steamy hot towel across the forehead.

2. i put a cold rag over my forehead and eyes
turn the lights out
and just lay there until its gone

i get headaches a lot

3. umm...try an ice pack

4. Have sex.

5. Take a hot bath and wrap a cold, wet towel around your neck or put it on your head.
Drink lots of water.

6. A warm rice sock. Here's the "recipe":

Fill a large (clean) men's athletic sock with jasmine rice and dried lavender. Tie off the top. When you have a headache -- or a muscle ache of any kind -- put the rice sock in the microwave for 2 minutes on high power. Test the surface temperature and then lay down with it on your neck, temples, or anywhere else that hurts. Relax and enjoy!

We made these in my birthing class five years ago and mine is still very effective. You can refresh it by adding new lavender once in a while.

7. Acupressure. In the webbing of your forfinger, and thumb you will find a piece of slipery muscle. When you press on it it slips back to the webbing. Press as hard as you can on that muscle while closing your eyes for 10 seconds. Remember it has to really hurt. Keep your eyes closed for another 10 seconds. You might have to do this 2-3 times. I have found it works 90% of the time. They say your body can not register more then one pain at a time. The stronger one gets registered. The pain in your hand will hurt more then the one in your head. Most of the time your body forgets to go back to your head. Good luck.

8. lol kat is right i heard that sex and or masterbation releases some kind of chemical in your brain. or if you could try massaging a pressure point that resides between your index finger and thumb pushing down and massaging counter clockwise i've heard helps.

9. I'll agree with Kat, it actually does work. Your (husband?) will thank us for this advice........lol.
