Does any one know any home remedies for sinus headaches?

I have sinus headaches about ten months out of the year. After I take antibiotics and decongestants, the headache comes back. I am sure it is a sinus headache. Thanks My head is killing me.

1. Steam, adding a drop of eucalyptus oil or any other balm can give relief.

2. I have chronic sinus infections that comes with sinus headaches...I know of two things that help me the best is:

1. Hot shower...the steam really does help.

2. A cool pack that was in the freezer placed on your forhead or on the nose.

Alternating the hot shower and the cool pack really helped mine.

As for that smelly stuff...It bothered me real bad...Caused the headache to get worse. Maybe it is beccause I am allergic to strong senses...

Good Luck!

p.s. here is a website that might help you.

3. ice pack.. and a good sleep..

4. I suffer regular sinus headaches. I take Ibuprofen and apply pressure on the bridge of my nose for about 1 minute. It works.
If headache persists for a couple of days i go to a massage therapist. (shiatsu) When I leave, the headache is gone and I feel marvellous.

5. Try steam from a cup of hot water breath it in it should loosen all that stuff in sinus passages

6. I had sinus problems for years, I decided to try something different I started a hydration regimen, what I mean by that is I took a empty bottle of sinus spray (either the pump or the squeeze type) and just filled it with tap water and sprayed 4-5 shots in each nostril every 15 or 20 minutes. Prior to starting to do this I wouldn't think of going anywhere without a spray bottle of decongestant, now I haven't used the decongestant in weeks. Try this it may help, at least it couldn't hurt. Also if you live in a city with treated water (chlorinated/fluoridated) you might want to use bottled water
