1. Drink lots of water. Sometimes headaches are caused by dehydration. If you still don't feel better tomorrow, go to the doctor.

2. A headache for 24 hours is dangerous! Go to the doctor now!

3. Sleep

4. Shower, nap, rest with a cold damp cloth on your forehead, get a head massage.
If it's the worst headache of your life, see a doctor immediately.

5. take some excedrin migraine...drink a pepsi, maybe your sugar is low or sum sh!t

6. Smash your foot with a hammer, you will forget about your headache.

7. no

8. A Bat!

9. sleep

10. sleep or tea

11. drink a bottle of Gatoraide if you have already tried slamming water and it didn't help. See a doctor soon.

12. you have a migraine. if you have a banddanna tie it putting pressure on it an lay down and relax.or sleep.

13. sleep or if realy hurts go see docter

14. Lots of water and some ibuprofen pm, with the sleep aid in it, then crash, you should feel better in the morning.

15. Peppermint oil put it on the back of your neck and your temples.

16. I find a glass of warm watter and decongestants works, it might be congestion and you don't know it, if that doesn't work it's off to the doctors with you

17. Water, so many headaches are due to dehydration. Lie down in a dark room for an hour to see if that helps, AVOID staring at PC screen as that can make headaches a lot worse....

18. TAKE A BATH AND GET SOME SLEEP! DUHHHH IT'S NOT A HEADACHE HAVE U HEARD OF SINUSES AND ALLERGIES. DO TO A DOCTOR OR TRY OVER THE COUNTER MEDS WHICH MAY WORK A LITTLE BUT TRY GOING TO THE DOCTORS AND GET MORE INFO

19. I've found that a deep thumb massage, on the part of your body where your head meets your neck, directly in the middle, gives great relief.

20. Feverfew is renown for headaches. Unless you are into herbs, you probably don't have any. My roommate says rubbing behind you ear for a while will get rid of a headache. You could try it. Sometimes gaterade if your dehydrated.

21. Gotta ensure regularity of your elimination. Else, toxemia can set in and that can give you a real headache. Vit C, eating fruit, drinking fruit juice can help out.

Tension headaches are different. Exercise and then relaxation can help.

Actually, exercise can help in both instances.
Somebody else mentioned Ibuprofen. That's the only pain reliever that works for me, so I'll second that one too. It's a little hard on kidneys tho, I've heard, so don't make it habitual.

Best wishes...

22. Well..not sure if you ahve a sinus headache but this may work all the same....what you do is press the tip of your tongue to the center of the roof of your mouth then with 2 finger press right inbetween your eyes....I know it sounds silly my my granmother told me this and I have used it ever since........hope this helps & you feel better:)

23. have you been to the doctor....If none of the tips work take some excedrine migrine or bc powder put an ice pack on your head go in a completly dark room and go to sleep.

24. 2 tall glasses of water and then get outside for some fresh air.

25. Yes, water is always what I recommend first- lots of people walk around dehydrated and don't even realize it. By the time you are thirsty, you're dehydrated.

Other good suggestions are to put some calming oil like lavendar into some boiling water and inhale the vapor. It's very soothing.

Acupressure points for headaches include the temples, the third eye (you know, between your eyebrows!) and under your eyes. Depending on where the headache is coming from, your neck and back may also be affecting it.

Try to concentrate on the pain; sometimes it will fizzle away. A nice hot or cold (depending on your preference) washcloth over your eyes while you lay down is also very nice!

There are tons of herbal remedies for headaches, but they are specific to the cause of the pain. I'd suggest doing a little internet research so you can narrow down your choices to fit what type of headache you have.

Good Luck, and feel better!

26. You need to have some major mind blowing sex girlfriend!!!! Orgasms send out all the right chemicals (endorphins I think?) well anyway...when you orgasm it will relax you and the tension in your head will disappear.... I've used this method for numerous migraines...works.

Good luck! If that don't work..well try a lil ganja...lmao

27. Flick your bean... The circulation and stress relief can be good for shaking off a bad headache. Remember to stay hydrated.

28. I get terrible headaches sometimes. The Doctor gives me a pill that contains caffeine, aspirin and a pain medicine, I do know that caffeine allows the blood to flow more easily through the head and the asprin will be good for the pain.

29. You take a long shower. Then relax and try to sleep. If can not sleep then take a cup raw tea with lemon.

30. Twenty--four hours with a headache unrelieved with medication requires medical attention, even if it's due to stress or sinuses you should have felt some relief with medication! You need to see a Doctor!

31. just try steam inhalation with menthol drops in it .it realy works

32. no joke hun, gatorade. another girl said this already but it works. I had a serious headache for like 2 days. aspirin/advil wouldnt touch it. drank a bottle of gatorade and poof! good luck

33. Headaches do not normally last 24 hours. I don't want to say you should go to a doctor. I think it will go away if you drink water and get some sugar in you. Maybe your hungry. Find out where the pain is. Sometimes its a split headache where its pain on one side of the head, sometimes a tension headache from neck and pain around or behind the ears, or a sinus headache because of the nasal passage. It could be a migraine due to excessive blood flow to the brain, or it can just be pain behind the eyes, that makes you feel the samethings you would feel if you had a headache, or it can just be a regular feeling headache. If sleep has not cured it yet, go do some breathing excercises and take tylenol. stay away from ibprofen or advil. they do not work, or haven't, or i just do not trust them like i'd trust tylenol. I used to get migraines nearly everyday for most of my childhood, but i learned to make it go away, and now i do not get them but 5-7 days a year. sometimes having your focus broken makes it worse. you just want to focus and not worry about it. focus on anything that makes you forget the pain, and it should gradually fade. I would reduce the stress or anxiety, and look for any other bodily symptoms. sometimes not doing anything makes it go away. worrying about the headache might work like a self fulfilling worsening of the headache. somehow your brain will know that you are worried about your headache, and it will actually make you feel worse without you telling it to. Maybe thats it.

34. Shower, Sleep , Sex, Me ;)

35. Sounds like you need to see a doctor. If he rules out anything serious, try herbal supplements like MiGone Plus. Taken daily, they will prevent further headaches.
