Lower back right side pain?
I have some pain in my lower back on the right side above my right butt cheek near where the dimple is suppose to be. I started to feel pain there after track practice and i cant do my best performance with this pain. Any ideas?

2. long shot but do you wear your wallet in that pocket where the pain is? other then being muscle pain from running, that can irritate that muscle as well. besides stretching out take an NSAID (nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug) like Naproxen (you can get it over the counter or ask your parents if they might have some. it will relieve any inflammation in your muscles.
3. I was a runner and had the same problem. It is likely due to tight hamstring muscles, particularly if you're a runner. When the hamstrings are tight, they can pull on your lower back.

Also, when your hip flexors are tight, they can pull on bands that connect to your lower back muscles. Try doing exercises to stretch them -- it has helped me when I experienced lower back pain.

You could also be out of alignment. Running can definitely throw that off. You may want to visit a chiropractor.
