Pain in lower right hand side of back?

Hey, I've been having a dull pain in my lower back on the right hand side since early this afternoon. I'm seventeen and I have a clean bill of health. The pain's not really bad, but it doesn't feel like a pulled or strained muscle, so I'm a little weirded out. It hurts if I breathe in deeply, twist in any way, and it hurts to the touch. Anybody know what it might be?

1. Cold it be a pulled muscle? If not, might want to suspect kidney (lower back, hurts to the touch). Sadly, it will not get better on its own without medical intervention.

Do drink loads of water, at least a full liter plus 1/2, and then some, everyday until you can get to the doctor. The water will keep the kidneys functioning and flush them. No sodas or caffeine, which have diuretic effect. Do make an appt with your doctor.
