1. NOPE NO RELIEF. BUT MAYBE IT MIGHT WORK FOR YOU THINGS WORK DIFFERENT ON EVERY PERSON. GOOD LUCK. I HAVE FIBROMYALGIA AND I SUFFER BAD WITH IT. I HAVE FOUND NOTHING TO HELP ME .

2. I take cymbalta for fibro. I love it. It affects both seratonin and norepinephrine levels in the brain - and both of these have effects on pain levels.
It does not eliminate pain or fatigue, or make you symptom free - but it does help. I noticed this when I was forced to miss a few doses because of an insurance mix-up - I had no idea how much it helped until I had to go without it!
Most common side effect is sleepiness - which is why many people choose to take it before bed. This effect usually wears off though - in about 1-2 weeks. The good news is that it can help you get a better nights sleep too - which can also lower pain levels :-)
I think it's worth a try - I'm certianly glad I tried it out.

3. I give cymbalta for deep nerve pain at the hospital where I work. We prescribe it especially to diabetics that have nerve pain in the back, legs, and feet. A lot of the patients say that it works, some say that it doesn't.
It is a combination drug with both antidepressant abilities and nerve pain relief abilities.

4. I have Complex Regional Pain Syndrome and I was given it for depression and the pain. It didn't help my pain much because the pain was so severe, but I know that it can help some people a lot. It's suppose to help people with nerve pain and depression. I couldn't tell if it had any side effects when I first started it because I was on it with so many other medications with it at the time, and now that I've been on it for almost a year I don't notice any other side effects from it since I'm not on any of the other medications anymore.
