I have had a very good experience with Lyrica, however finding an appropriate dose level is hard. Since I have Fibro and also some severe pain at points including the right hemisphere of my skull where a car side vision mirror hit me, I have found that only Codeine takes care of bad pain days for a right hemisphere attack, however Codeine is hard to justify here in the US, but it is over the counter in Australia. I have used ultram and aleve to bridge the pain management gaps. Any tips on how Lyrica has worked for you, and how you coped with other pain issues, specifically for me, it was after I was hit by a Car ( I was a pedestrian) in 1991. I don't know if this whole issue is degenerative for me, but to stop some neurological based tremors, I also use Clonozapam. Any advice would be greatly appreciated
Thanks.
I have seen a Neuro( several) and a Rheumatoligist. I was given some blockers for the Head injury, but that stopped when they got annoyed when another treatment did not work. I think that the whole treatment is being affected by something underlying. Lyrica works, with ultram, aleve, and clonozapam at the moment, but my bad pain days are still bad, but mainly due to lyrica, I have had more good days than ever before.
I'm off for a Cortisone shot. My Lyrica Doseage is being up to 150 twice a day. Hopefully I can get into some more physical rehab, I am beginning to suspect I have Sciatica, but it could be more of the Fibro. Also, since I get fatigued easily, I will ask about CFS, but I am assuming I will get the run around. Ah well ... any day above ground is a good day... will be better when my XBox 360 I won arrives :-)
