1. Call your pharmacist. They know more than anyone about meds.
2. Flexeril (a muscle relaxant) and lyrica (used for fibromyalgia pain) are both "sedating" medications. Mobic (a non-steroidal drug like motrin), Cymbalta (an antidepressant) and Hyzaar (used for blood pressure) are generally not sedating.
While flexeril and lyrica can have additive effects - increasing the amount of sedation - neither one is known to cause "overdose"
As long as your physician and pharmacy know that you are taking all of these medications - I am sure that you are ok. As a pharmacist, I cannot see any significant contraindications. It is important to always go to the same pharmacy as they will check all of your medication automatically with their computer system to identify any interactions that they may not see.
In addition just as a point of information - Hyzaar should generally be taken in the morning because it contains a diuretic which will possibly increase the need to get out of bed during the night to "pee". This could cause a problem - 1) as you will be slightly sedated, it will be difficult to get up 2) the need to urinate will interupt your sleep which may further aggravate your fibromyalgia as you are not getting quality sleep.
Many, many people with chronic pain issues and depression have to be on many more medications than 5 but it is great that you are checking it out.
3. it is safe to take them. i have been on them for 3 years now just gained a lot of weight 40 pounds (lyrica 150 3x a day)

5. I, too, have Fibromyalgia. I am also taking several drugs. What I did was google each of the medicines I take and checked them out myself as to what they helped, what their side effects were and what medications they were not to be taken with. While a pharmacist can tell you what meds can't go together, each person is different and should research themself. There were some drugs that I have tried that gave me weird side effects that neither my doctor or pharmacist could figure out. I checked online and discovered myself what the problem was. When I told my doctor he realized it was an unusual side effect and changed the medicine to one that works better for me. Recently, I discovered a drug called Low Dose Naltrexone. I started it in January and have had good resilts. A trial at Stanford University was recently completed that showed marked improvement in 7 of 10 patients with Fibromyalgia. There is also a new group at Yahoo for discussion of Fibro and this drug called LDNforFibro@yahoogroups.com . Good luck.
