Knee pain - possible causes and how next to diagnose?

I have pain in both knees, directly behind the knee caps, especially after exercise, or for example wearing heels. This is not following a trauma. X-rays, echography and now magnetic scanner have all come up clear, but it does not change the fact that at 33 years old I can not do any sport and prolonged walking leaves me in agony the next day.
What is next after a magnetic scan in order to diagnose what is causing the pain?
I had an IRM (in France) which I think is the equivalent of a CT scan...

1. It depends on the doctor, but I think a CT scan would be feasible.
Are you seeing an ortho right now to diagnose you?

2. Make an appointment to see a physiotherapist which specialises in sports injuries.

3. This sounds as though it may be a problem with the tendon which runs under the knee cap, or perhaps with the ligaments which hold the bones together. Have you been seen by a physiotherapist? They might be able to help. You might be able to have an arthroscopy, which involves putting a little camera inside your knee to look around (under general anaesthetic). Have you had blood tests for arthritis? Those might also be helpful. Good luck with it.

for me i would prefer a slow natural way to take care of my knee

some soft exercise like yoga/pilates plus regular massage
