What are some causes of inside knee pain, at night, gets better if I walk around, hurts again, repeat walking?
50 years old, ACL replaced, orthoarthristis in knee, takes pain pills. At night, after about 4 hous sleeping, I awake to severe pain on inside of knee. I have to get up and walk around for about two or three minutes. Go back to bed and after about a couple of hours, I have to repeat. Any Ideas?

1. uhhhh, try going to the doctor?
2. yea doc
3. Its probably just a torn muscle that happend when you got up to quickly or twisted it somehow. Sometimes they can last for a while all you have to do is wait for it to heal.. it sucks.
4. my friend had that i think
he said something about his bone was growing to fast or something
its sometyhing you should be seing your doctor about
not yahoo.answering it
5. circulation problems? ginkgo biloba
6. My husband bought shark cartilage pills from GNC...he was told by a nurse they help with knee/joint pain, and the workers at GNC agreed. They worked for him!
7. Scar tissue formation post-ACL replacement, incomplete healing of the ligament, possible re-injury resulting in a partial tear and fluid accumulation inside the knee.
8. If it seems to be okay during the day then you may be sleeping in one position where your leg just gets stiff from no motion. Try sleeping with your knee bent & then straighten it out. I don't know how this could be done if you are in a really good sound sleep, but some motion throughout the night may help.
9. Two very likely possibilities here. The first is that you are not being properly hydrated. The average person needs water at the following rate:
Take your total body weight and divide by 2. That number is the amount of water in ounces that you need to drink each and everyday. Along with that, you should consume 1/4 teaspoon of "air dried sea salt" in conjunction with each quart of water you drink. This puts the electrolytes in your body that will give you proper hydration. The typical white table salt you buy in stores like the Morton Salt, for instance, is terrible for you and has loads of chemicals added. Avoid that junk. If you drink ANY diuretic drinks like, sodas, coffee, tea, alcohol, commercially prepared fruit drinks, energy drinks, etc., these all dehydrate you and you will need to add more water to the total to compensate for the water loss due to these diuretic drinks. Take the total ounces of the diuretic drinks and multiply by 1.5 and add that total to the original total to come up with the proper amount of water you need to drink each day.
When your kidneys are weak, you will get weak knees and problems with the knees. The ACL replacement was most likely done by surgery and this has caused an interference field and is most likely reflexing to another part of your body, maybe the knees or your kidneys making them weak. The arthritis is caused by "infection" most likely from a nanobacteria that does not show up on typical lab tests. You need to have a more sophisticated test to find them, like PCR testing. You can go to a Sports Medicine Doctor and for very little money and effort have them look at doing Prolotherapy to fix the damage done by the surgery. Most likely it has not healed correctly and this is so typical.
The pain pills are blocking the bodies natural healing process. I know they make you feel better, but you need to get to the "root cause" of your problem, not just treat the symptoms as doctors all do. That is a long term drug sentence that is only "MAKE BELIEVE HEALTH."
The infection in the joints promote cartilage destruction and is often a result of low mineral content in the body. This can be traced back to bad digestion due to low stomach acid. Low stomach acid allows nanobacteria to enter the body due to the lack of sanitation the acid provides and allows food to not digest properly, especially meat. This encourages lactic acid that may result in acid indigestion and acid reflux from the rotting, putrefying, undigested food that lies in the stomach waiting for the pH to go down. Minerals buffer the acid formed by the consumption of meat proteins and if there is not enough stomach acid from eating cooked foods, processed foods, and just getting older, the condition of the body will become more acidic and promote the arthritis.
At 50 years old, you are producing less than 60%+ stomach acid you did at 25 years old. If you will notice, around late 20's you will be getting more weight deposited around your waste (if you are a man) and around your hips and thighs (if you are a woman). This is due to the toxic build up from your digestion slowly getting worse and the body stores these toxins as STORED FAT in adipose tissue to protect the organs.
General deterioration of the body happens very rapidly in America today. People are not looking at being healthy and happy in their old age, in fact, instead of looking at the life expectancy, they look at the death expectancy rates now. Very few people die of natural causes; most are dying of some disease. All this is a result of BAD SCIENCE being promoted by the people being intrusted with your health, doctors, drug companies, the government agencies like the FDA, and the agricultural industry who focus on PROFIT, not health.
You will NOT get to the "root cause" of your problem by seeing doctors that use drugs and surgery to give you a form of life support as you age. You can become healthy again, but it's not easy in America. INDOCTRINATION is the way people are taught and force fed misinformation that exacerbates the problems being generated by the food industry, the medical industry, etc.
The getting up at night every few hours is not allowing your Adrenal Glands to recharge and they must be exhausted. You will have low energy from this. Also, the liver is where the body controls the maintenance and flexibility of the joints (energetically speaking). Most likely your liver is loaded with toxins and is going to need support and detoxification as part of you getting healthy. I suggest you find a practitioner that understands QRA testing and find out what the "root causes" are that are making you unhealthy and allowing the deterioration to happen. You do NOT have to live with this condition.
good luck to you
10. I have the same issue. Nothing I have tried has worked. Hydration, glucosamine, ginko, nadda. All I can do is manage the pain with tramadol that I buy online or have knee surgery...
