Has your doctor found pain medication for fibromyalgia?

My doctor and annastologist have ran out of meds. Steroids make my metolosium off and causes unjust heat. Help

1. try soma (muscle relaxant) and tramadol (pain reliever).

2. Hey There, Grannywinkie!

Have you tried Nalbuphine? It's supposed to work as well as morphine, but it doesn't depress the respiratory system. It's new.

All the best to you, God bless and keep you in his tender hands,

3. i have fibro and i take oxycodone 15 mg and actiq 200 mg takes the pain down to a level you can cope most of the time

4. I have had fibro for twenty years now and I can tell you from my personal experience, pain medications do not work. I have tried everything up to Fentynl patches with Actiq suckers. The amount of pain medication that I require is too toxic to my system. After being on pain meds my liver function was consistent with Hepatitis induced from drugs, I had Type II diabetes, high blood pressure, rotting teeth, and terrible bowel problems from the pain meds shutting down my gut. I awoke one day with paramedics looking over me with my husband. I had come out of a seizure (which I'd never had before) and a temp of 107.5. Scary. My best advise is to make sure you are getting all the supplemements you need (see immunesupport.com), get as much rest as you can, use a good muscle relaxant (I am on Zanaflex), and learn to say no when you're overwhelmed.
Steriods are typically not a good solution although it is new and popular. The methods I've seen delivered are through an epideral.
Fibromites can have very odd reactions to medications. We can take something that would knock other people to their knees but then take a "simple" medication and have strange reactions to it. That may be why your metabolism is off from your med.
Try taking warm baths in Epson Salt. It contains Magnesium (which is a supplement you should look into in the form of Magnesium Glycenate since our bodies absorb it better). Magnesium allows oxygen into your muscles, reducing cramping and spasms.
I could go on forever but I should wrap this up.
Hope it helps!
