Could One Of The Fibromyalgia Symptoms Be Chest Pain ?
Public Comments
1. If you have fibromyalgia, you may have noticed that you often feel intense pain in your ribcage and chest. This aching and stabbing pain is very common in fibromyalgia and can really impact on your enjoyment of life. If your chest pains are making it difficult for you to complete your work, get a good night’s sleep, or even breathe deeply, it is important to visit with your health care provider. Chest pain in fibromyalgia is usually nothing to worry about, but occasionally it can indicate other problems.
There is more information on this in the link provided. Good Luck :)
2. Ask yourself this questions, "Why are the symptoms of Fibromyalgia the same as late stage Lyme Disease?" "Why do so many Fibromyalgia patients test positive for Lyme Disease?" Now I will ask you my own questions, " Why do you think my Dr gave me Lyrica, even though I tested positive for Lyme? "Isn't Lyme treated with antibiotics, not Lyrica?" What do George W Bush, a mad chimp that rips people's faces off, Amy Tan, The shooter who shot the pastor in church recently, Darryl Hall (Hall&Oates), most people diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, and the person asking you this question all have in common? The answer is Lyme Disease, look it up, it's true.
3. It depends on what kind of chest pain you're talking about. You'd have to be more specific. If it was a crushing pain in the middle of you chest that may or may nor radiate down your arm then that's probably a heart attack. But if it's all over the chest like in between the ribs it could be part of the symptoms of fibromyalgia. Again there are many kinds of chest pains and to narrow it down you really should give some more details.
4. Yes, I just went to the doctor because of chest pains and it was due to my fibromyalgia. It was across my chest and in my back, that was two days ago and it is just now starting to ease some. It wakes me up in the mornings because of the pain. Seems as though laying down causes it to worsen. I take half a tylenol #3 and 500 mg of liquid tylenol. The liquid tylenol has really helped me for I don't have to wait for it to break down and i generally start getting a little relief within 20 minutes. Good luck and hope you feel better soon.
5. Probably costrochrondritis. Pain where cartilage attaches to the sternum and ribs. The cartilage is not healthy; when flexxed, it feels like it is being torn apart.
When cells are being fed correctly again, the cartilage will be strong and the pain will stop.
6. sure--there are soft tissues in the chest-and teh heart is a muscle-
i also get costeochonritis
fibrofix is quackery--that person had a dietary sensativity--not real fibro--anyone that cures fibro with a diet did not have real fibro to begin with
while it is truie that there is a loto f misdiagnosis including docs labelling any pain as fibro--and mixingup lymes and fibro--they are not the same thing----there really are 2 different conditions--and many bad docs
