1. Oh no. Well, I was put on Cymbalta for depression and I asked my doctor if I could try it since it does say it helps with the physical pains of people suffering from depression. But one time I had run out and I thought it was like another SSRI (like Prozac) and I wouldn't have any side effects. Wrong! I was so dizzy. I called my pharmacist and he told me to get over there right away because you have to wean yourself off of Cymbalta. I did experience appetite loss with Cymbalta. But I went back to Prozac. Fibromyalgia is so horrible and painful. I'm very sorry! I hope the Cymbalta works for you.
2. I take Effexor which is also an SNRI like Cymbalta.
Appetite loss is one of the side effects. If it's bothersome, contact your doctor. You may be able to change the dose, change medications.
It's recommended to take Effexor first thing in the morning but I always take mine at night to sleep thru any side effects.
3. idk, i just learned that my dad has it. do YOU have any advice?
4. I have an old friend who suffered for years from Fibromyalgia. Her doctor put her on methadone and she is so much better. And no side effects such as loss of appetite. Methadone is also used to wean junkies away from heroin. It has that sort of reputation as an addictive narcotic. It is. But so is Prozac, so is Cymbalata, etc. My friend, Ellen, was leery of taking it but she had to do something. Could be it would work for you, also.
5. I also have Fibromyalgia and am Cymbalta. And yes I did have appetite loss, which I didn't consider a bad thing.
While the Cymbalta does help some for the pain, Lyrica has helped 100 times more for the pain.
6. do evry day Yoga, you know that? it should be remove from your body
