Fibromyalgia symptoms?
I have been having pain on my neck and shoulders and my upper back in the morning feels very stiff. Doctor says its fibromyalgia. Is stiff back a symptom of fibro?

1. definately--but if it is confined to your back/neck area--i would be concerned that it is a back/neck problem/injury...generally the pain needs to be in the upper and lower half of the body.it is possible for it to be confined to the 'trunk' area--but it is more often a symptom of a localized problem
many docs with use the term to mean any pain--even normal pain from overexertion or a mild injury that doesn't show up on an xray
