...what's wrong with me and how can I get better?
don't say go to the doctors because I have to go to school in a few hours for a GCSE exam
and my head hurts when I get up out of bed or a chair / move my head / walk too fast

1. Wow Headache in forehead !!! Cold and sore throat I guess !

2. No miracle 'cures' that will work in a few hours, I'm afraid, but sounds like you need to just make yourself feel better for this afternoon, so I suggest you take some paracetamol or Ibuprofen for the ear pain and sore throat pain and asprin to reduce the temparature that may be causing the headaches.
ensure you DON'T take anything that will make you drowsy, and READ the LABELS. Suck throat losenges, drink fluids, eat comfort foods.

GOOD LUCK in the exam!!!

Edit...
The head aches definately sound like they are caused by a temperature which is caused by your body trying to fight the virus... asprin will reduce the temp and you should see a difference very soon.

Edit 2... Julia H, below has suggested 'decongestants' but beware that these can contain ingredients like antihistamine that will make you drowsy for your exam!

Edit 3.. Well??? How did it all go??

3. Too tired. You should rest and when you feel well, then continue again.

4. What is wrong is that you have a virus. Antibiotics will be no good for a virus. Perhaps you have sinus trouble as well, which would explain the forehead pain. What you need is some decongestants and painkillers. Good luck with your GCSE-oh and if bright lights effect you, or severe pain on trying to put you chin near your chest (look down at tummy), then, I suggest you DO go to the docs.
