has anyone taken cymbalta for fibromyalgia and gotten very sick?
my pain doctor gave me that for pain and i was vomiting and thought my whole head would explode! anyone else have this happen?

1. My daughter can't take it. I have taken it for years and it's been the best thing for me.2. No, I have taken this for depression. This drug has side effects I'm glad I'm off of it.
3. I'v not tried that i did have similar medication which made me really ill with the symptoms you describe. It may be too strong for you.
4. Yes! I took it for several days, and I was so nauseated although I didn't throw up I felt like it. I also was in worse pain. than before. It made me dizzy and couldn't eat. I know they say it has helped some people.
I don't know they give us these drugs to help with one condition and the side effects are just as bad or worse than what they give it to you for.
I am going to stick with my pain patches..Duragesic. been on it since Aug. 2001 and it helped me go from being basically bed ridden to living a half way normal life.
